The Centre for Emotional Health is the home of Emotional Health Day

Emotional Health Day was created by us to encourage everyone to focus on emotional health, what it is, why it is important and how we can all take small steps to develop it, to enable not only us, but those around us, to thrive.

The date for this years emotional health day is February 24th 2026

About Emotional Health Day

Emotional Health Day began on 24th February 2022 on the 25th anniversary of The Centre for Emotional Health. It now happens every year and is an opportunity to come together to focus on raising awareness of the importance of emotional health and how good emotional health can support us through the challenges that life throws at us. The day aims to help people understand and prioritise their emotional health.

It is vital that we increase understanding of emotional health, why it is important, how it can be developed, and how it can act as a foundation for good mental health. Emotional health should be a priority, not just for government, but for us all.

How can I get involved?

We have an exciting day of activities planned. From reminding ourselves what emotional health is, to thinking about the importance of building the capabilities of the adults around children, talking about the impact of emotional health in the workplace on early childhood, and most importantly perhaps, considering emotional health and ourselves; what can we do to support our own emotional health?

Join us online to raise our collective voice about the importance of Emotional Health using the hashtags #EmotionalHealthDay, #EmotionalHealth and tagging us to raise the profile of emotional health.

Follow us on social media as we share resources, events and activities you can get involved with.
